Breakfast with a view on Virgin Voyages

🌴 Nothing like waking up to that ocean breeze and no Zoom meetings on the horizon 🌴

There's a lot to love on a Virgin Voyages cruise, but for me, it starts with the food, specifically their room service breakfast. I don't know what it is about having my breakfast delivered to me, but it is (for me) when my vacation truly begins.

My breakfast came with real, not powdered, scrambled eggs with maybe a splash of oregano in the mix? I've had these eggs several times and still can't nail down the spice blend, but basically it's light enough not to be imposing, but it adds an extra level to the eggies that you just don't get in a typical breakfast on a cruise ship (Hi buffets, I'm looking at you).

It doesn't stop at the eggs. I have a peeve about so-called "fruit cups" that are mostly melon. No offense if you love a cantaloupe, but it's never been my favorite fruit. So I was thrilled when Virgin's breakfast service had a full, glorious fruit bowl that included a long line of pineapple and blackberries!

I've worked remotely for over 10 years now, and it's really hard to take a vacation when your entire career (and sometimes life?) is built on serving others, but I'm here to tell you babe - You DESERVE to be treated to a room service breakfast, with a balcony view. You deserve a zoom-free morning, and a meetingless vacation where the only client you have to serve is you. 💕
